How to make Moong dal Dosa/Pesarattu – Recipe for Pesarratu/ moong dal dosa

It is made with green gram batter, but, unlike dosa, it does not contain urad dal. Pesarattu is eaten as breakfast and as a snack in Andhra Pradesh.

Ingredients to make moong dal Dosa.
Green Moong dal 2 cups soaked over night
Ginger
Green Chillies
Salt
Onions
Butter
Oil

Method to make Moong Dal Dosa
1- Grind the dal with Ginger , green chillies. Use 1/2 cup water to grind it coarsley. Batter should not be runny or too thick.
2- Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and salt as per taste in the batter
3- Heat a non stick dosa pan and sprinkle some water. Wipe it off gently using a tissue paper or cloth.
4- Add one ladle full of batter on the dosa pan and spread it evenly in a circular motion.
5- Add toppings of onion or veggies of your choice on dosa.
6- Sprinkle 1 tsp oil on dosa and cook until nice and brown.
7- Aplly some butter
8- Have it with tomato sauce.
