Rice Kheer Recipe – How to make rice kheer
Kheer is a type of pudding made by boiling milk , sugar and rice. It can be served hot or cold. It is one of the favourite dessert and can be made quickly and easily with just a few ingredients. Kheer is also made in lot of festivals across India.

Ingredients to make Kheer
1 litre full cream milk
Leftover rice 1.5 cup
1/2 cup sugar
Finely chopped Almonds
Finely chopped Pistachio
Method to make rice kheer
1- Boil the milk in a deep pan
2- Let it boil on low flame and keep stirring in between.
3- Add sugar and let it simmer for 5 mins on a low flame.
4- Add rice and cook until combined with milk. Please cook it on low flame and keep stirring in between.
5- Add all the dry fruits and mix it well.
6- Continue to cook on low flame for 10-15 mins and stir in between.
7- Transfer into a serving diah and garnish with dry fruits.
1- You can add saffron if required
2- You can add rose water too.
3- Stirring the kheer in between is important as it helps rice get combined with the milk and kheer doesn’t stick at bottom of the pan.
