Rassam – How to make Rassam

Preperation Time – 5 mins
Cooking time – 20 Mins
Type – Main course/Soup
Serves – 3

1- Curry Leaves
2- Coriander leaves with stem
3- Black peppercorn
4- Ginger
5- Garlic
6- Salt
7- Tamarind Pulp
8- Cumin seeds

1-Boil water , add curry leaves , coriander leaves with stem, asofetida , salt , 1/2 tsp turmeric.
2- Crush garlic, ginger and black peppercorn with little salt.
3- Add the paste in water and mix it all together and let it cook for 10 mins.
4- Add tamarind pulp and cook for another 5 mins.
5- Strain the rassam and keep it aside.
6- Give tadka of cumin seeds , curry leaves , and coriander leaves.
7- Enjoy!
