Momos, originating from Tibet is a hugely popular street food in the country, largely in North-India. A versatile food that it is, we have a wide variety available from vegetable, mutton to what we have here, chicken momos. With these momos the possibilities are endless.

Type – Snacks
1- 1 cup wheat flour
2- 1.5 cup Refined flour
3- 250 gms minced chicken
5- 1 TSP vinegar
6- Black pepper powder
7- Chopped coriander stems
8- 1/2 onion finely chopped
9- Ginger and Garlic finely chopped, u can use paste too.
10- 1 TSP sugar
11- Soy Sauce
12 – Oil
Dough Preperation – Well kneaded dough is very important for momos preperation, , you need to ensure you give proper rest and its kneded soft.
1- In a bowl add wheat flour and refined flour
2- Add sugar, salt and water as required
3- Knead it well and add vinegar
4- On a plain board massage the dough well for some 5 mins, cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 1 hr.
1- Add minced chicken in a bowl.
2- Add salt , soy sauce , coriander stems, onions , ginger, garlic , black pepper 2 tsp oil.
3- Mix it all well and keep aside.
1- Roll the dough into very thin 4-5 inch rounds. Please roll thin rounds, dont keep too thick.
2- Take each round piece and place some filling in the center.
3- Bring the edges together and seal it.
4- Stick the end of corners together properly.
5- Steam in a steamer for about 15 minutes and then deep fry for 45 seconds on high heat, serve hot with chilly sauce
