1- Wheat Flour 2 Cups
2- Carrom seeds/Ajwain
Dough Preperation and Poori Method
1- In a bowl add flour , 2 TSP salt , 1 TSP oil , crused ajwain
2- With the help of luke warm water knead it into a tight dough
3- Drizzle 1/2 tsp oil on the dough and let it rest for 10-15 mins
4- Divide the dough into equal parts and make round balls of it .
5- Roll the balls with a rolling pin into a circle of 3-4 inch diameter.
6- Heat the oil over medium flame and deep fry the pooris till they are nice ane golden in color.
7- Carefully take out poori and put it on a tissue to soak the excess oil.
Tip – Always prepare a hard dough for the pooris. Temperature of oil should not be too high or too low.
To get puffed pooris, gentle stoke sides of poori with ladle ( Be cateful do not break the pooris).
